OFSET, in collaboration with other associations (at least AFUL, APRIL and BxLUG) organize the Free and Open-Source Developers European Meeting, dedicated to Free Software, documentation and education , that will take place in Brussels on February 21 and 22, 2004, at ULB (PLaine Campus). The entrance is nearly gratis (5 euros).
The public that the FreeEDem addresses is composed of school teachers and directors, of any level primary, secondary and superior, who want to discover what free/libre/open-source software is, want to see demonstration, want to meet users, want to get in touch with developpers. The general public is most welcome too. Developpers and decision makers are most welcome too, as they will have the possibility to meet each other and consider future collaborations.
As much as possible of the organisation of FreeEDem is done in close collaboration with the Journées du logiciel libre à l'école or JLLE that are organized in Anderlecht on March 17 and Namur on March 27, 2004. These 2 events will be presentations, demonstrations and a conference for secondary school teachers and directors.
