The manual consists of three parts: a global introduction to GNU/Linux, setting up a stand alone GNU/Linux computer and setting up a GNU/Linux server.   14. httpPlume and X terminals as educational infrastructure by Jérôme Warnier. Plume is a free, clean and lean X-terminals system based on Debian.

  15. Project Schooltool (httphttp://www.schooltool.org) by SteveAlexander?. SchoolTool? is a project to develop a common global school administration infrastructure that is freely available under an Open Source licence. Our vision is to create a platform that is equally compelling for schools and colleges in First and Third World countries, that supports best practices in school administration and which is readily customised to comply with local regulatory requirements. A specific developpement session ( sprint?) will be organized after FreeEDEM on the dates Monday 23 Feb => Wednesday 25 Feb or Thursday 26 Feb 2004, in Brussels too)
